Don't select a similar model. Listing a different device than the one you're actually selling is misrepresentation. It breaks the buyer's trust, fails our verification checks, and will get your listing removed and your account suspended. The model on the listing must be the exact device in your hands.
Some devices aren't supported yet, including very old models and rare or niche releases. That's deliberate. We only open up models we can verify and price fairly.
If you think your model should be supported and it's genuinely missing, tell us and we'll review it. We'll email you back to confirm whether it's been added or, if not, explain why.
The single biggest cause of disputes is a device that arrives in worse shape than described. Buyers have 72 hours after delivery to check the device. If it doesn't match your listing, they can report a problem and Coyl decides whether they get a refund. Accurate beats flattering, every time.
Every laptop needs a scan: the free Coyl app reads the processor, memory, storage, screen and battery in a few seconds. Enter the code it gives you and your listing fills itself in, with the measured numbers shown to buyers.
When a buyer pays, Coyl holds the money. It's released to you once the buyer confirms the device matches the listing, or when the 72-hour check ends without a problem reported.
Clean, well-lit photos sell devices faster and at higher prices. Good packaging means your device arrives intact. We'll walk you through both.
We've started this for you from your answers above. Add how you used the device and why you're selling to make it your own.
Listing is free for the first 30 days. After that you renew it for €2 a month, and until card payments open on Coyl, renewing is free. Coyl's 5% fee is only taken once your device sells.

Shoot near a window in daylight. Avoid direct sun and harsh overhead lights. They create glare on screens and hide scratches that buyers will find later anyway.
A clean desk, a neutral wall, or a sheet of paper. The device should be the only thing in frame. Cluttered backgrounds look untrustworthy.
Front, back, all four sides, the screen powered on, and a close-up of any wear. Photographing a scratch builds more trust than hiding it.
You're most of the way there, but never ship the retail box on its own. Courier labels stuck directly on it and scuffs from transit ruin its resale value, and a thin retail box offers almost no drop protection.
Wrap the device in at least two full layers of bubble wrap, then suspend it in the centre of a sturdy box with crumpled paper or foam so it can't move. The device should never touch the outer walls of the box.
